1.7 map crowd volumes

Can you please tone down the crowd volume on the new 1.7 maps. The crowd is so loud they drown out the normal game sounds not to mention the headache they give me.

Smallcube & icedemon have crowds too loud, havent really played any others yet

dont't even touch ice deamon! that map makes me laugh so much, its the most fun i've had in deathball in awhile :)

Sounds are f***ed up in 1.7 i think. Crowds are too loud what they ve always been. Then I can here the guns all over the field, but the chargeup can t be heared if it s 10m away ffs. doubt the chargeupsound doubled? It s more like 1/2 o_O

the organs on icedemon pwn, it reminds me of being at a proper hockey game. Nice curves in the corners too...:)

only had 30 mins on a 1on1 in the net there though, have yet to decide how much I like the gameplay on it..

After time I found I've grown used to the crowds on cube, if you want some other banter on it, here's a thread I started in the days of 1.6.

slippin and a sliding... driftin' etc etc.

Ice Demon is fine with the crowd volume. The rest of the maps have the crowds WAY too loud.

Make the sound radius of charge up a lot more

make the sound of the crowds about.......a tenth of what they are

Played Icedemon again against some bots and the crowd is only too loud after goals are scored and the 30 seconds or so after restart

Just type this in the console to turn them off:

set ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem AmbientVolume 0
Only downside, it turns ambiant off until you type this in the console:

set ALAudio.ALAudioSubsystem AmbientVolume 0.3

It works on most maps... But it seems that in DB-Cube, they used normal sound actors and not ambiant sounds actors
