Running UT2004 RPG on server

Post by Furball »

I've been trying for a while now to figure a way to run a deathball server with the mutator ut2004rpg on. But for some reason it doesn't appear on the list for deathball, and nothing else. So could someone please help me out.

I wouldn't expect a quick reponse on the server forum if I was you. Should get one eventually though.

Hmm. Not sure what the benefit would be in Deathball with that mut. What would it do for players?

Speed bonus, health, jump height , damage bonus/reduction.

Ohh.. Not sure that it is wise to muck with the physics of the game. If you want to play in servers that conform to league standard setups, everyone is supposed to be equal. You shouldn't be able to outrun/outjump people or have any health advantage. But for personal fun on your own server as a way to get people to play more.. hell. Why not? New players won't really enjoy that though.

used that mutator alot in different mods for fun - but they often didn't work as the should then.

Deathball is already sensetive as it is so dont bother get that working ;)
