						well....to be REALLY honest....
they are just normal pictures, but if you turn em black'n'white they look like a piece of art....thats why i kinda despise bnw in photos...
(the dog pic is kinda cool tho
)
its like what we call "streicherveredelung" in music. add some strings to a random piece of rock music and it appears to be a well made piece of music.........appears :>

You might be right there, a bit 
 
I think that black and white adds more contrast and depth to a photo. The photo grabs you more.
I like the photo of the two dogs. It's an intimate moment between the little friends (or not). Only had a split second to snap it.
Hester's pic isn't special, it's just a photo of a girl I like a lot. That helps for me
The elderly couple I find the most interesting. The way they turned their backs against each other, how the man looks away. A bit conceptual. I titled it "45 years of marriage".
