Oh. *chuckles* A gem is usually a shiny stone that looks nice, but is otherwise worthless. Very few gems contain life, and those are the precious ones. You can see if a gem lives if you put it near some kind of energy source, for example into the sunlight, near something warm, things like that. If it is a life-containing gem, it will hatch into a living being. Just like an egg.

Yes, it does. Many of my friends died from that. So, if you ever find a gem, first try to find out if it contains life before you do anything else!

*sighs* A white substance inside those life-containing gems. It is the essence of .... of the gem people's life, if you can see this substance, the person it belonged to is dead. You humans are completely different beings, so it is hard to explain.
