Well, catching up should be easy to do. By about half an hour of posting every one or two weeks ...
edit: well, except what I produce when I get bored again ...
<--- Kex
*doesn't see the light approaching, too busy with kissing Giggle*
<--- Allen
*softly* Why not? Which colour do you like most?
<--- Lina
*nervously sits up*
*wonders if this is a strange test or something* I don't know - what do you want me to like?
<--- Allen
*puzzled* Um.
*pauses*
This is not a question of what I want - it is a question of what you want!
<--- Lina
*slightly shaking* That question - never existed - I was told what I had to want - Is - isn't that the way it should be?
<--- Allen
*raises eyebrow* No. Definitely not. Okay, let me explain the concept of favourite colour. Some people like a certain colour because an object or an event they liked is connected to that colour. Some people prefer a certain colour because it makes them feel good when they look at it. Think about it for a while, and when you decided which colour you like most, I would be happy if you told me. *smiles*
And after you decided that, you might find more things you might like or not like, and decide accordingly instead of waiting for orders.
<--- Lina
*hesitantly* I don't know any things - I like. *blushes* Whenever one of the girls said she'd like something, she got - demonstrated - that she never will like it again. *looks down*
<--- Allen
*shocked*
*thinks a while*
*finally says* I see. *shivers* I just hope for you that you will learn to like things soon. Otherwise - life is wasted. *decides to say something else instead* Otherwise your life will be very very poor.
*picks a sweet berry from his bag* Eat this. *and hands it to her*
<--- Lina
*does as requested*
<--- Allen
So, now tell me, do you like the taste?
<--- Lina
*opens mouth and closes it again*
*fights her reflex, her instinct that tells her to say "no" immediately*
*blinks and tries to recall the taste of the berry but doesn't really know how to decide if she likes something*
*tears roll down her face* I can't tell! *doesn't dare to look at him*
<--- Allen
Wow! That's a serious problem then! How do I teach someone to enjoy things and to REALIZE if she enjoys it or not?! *thinks about it*
*looks at the fruits*
*gets several different fruits out* Okay, look at these. We'll do some training now. *smiles* Look! *eats one of the fruits* Hmm. This one is quite sweet, and I like sweet stuff. Mayne people like sweet stuff, not everyone though. Different people may like the same things, or they may like different things, you never know. *smiles and takes another fruit*
*eats it and grimaces* Yeugh! This one was sour! *chuckles* Usually I like sour things, but not if they are TOO sour! *takes a third fruit and eats it* Well. This one was bitter. I'm not so much for bitter stuff, but there are some things - some drinks - that are bitter and that I like. It needs some other components of taste I guess.
<--- Lina
*watching with big eyes*
<--- Allen
*takes 3 other fruits* I want you to just taste those fruits and think about their taste. Does it taste nicely? Does it taste awkward? Does it leave a fresh feeling in your mouth? Or does it make your mouth feel sticky? That is how people decide if they like something or not - they prefer certain effects, you could say. Okay now, close your eyes. And give me your hand so I can give you a fruit to eat.
<--- Lina
*nervously sticks her hand out and closes her eyes*
<--- Allen
*puts a fruit into the girl's hand and watches her*
<--- Lina
*eats the fruit slowly, trying to do as he did before* Sweet. Juicy.
<--- Allen
Okay. *hands her another fruit*
<--- Lina
*eats slowly again* Sweet. Dry. And little stones - *opens her eyes* Does that count as taste?
<--- Allen
*smiles* I don't know, I guess not. But details like that may also be a reason to like or dislike things. Ready for the next fruit?
<--- Lina
*nods and closes her eyes*
*sticks hand out*
<--- Allen
*gives her another fruit*
<--- Lina
*eats the fruit*
*immediately feels like vomiting but doesn't dare to*
*forces herself to swallow the thing*
<--- Allen
*watches her* What's wrong?
<--- Lina
*coughs*
*nervously opens her eyes* Mouldy.
<--- Allen
Oh - oh, I'm sorry! But why did you swallow it then?! Why didn't you spit it out?
<--- Lina
*winces* I was supposed to eat it - no? *shaking and feeling sick*
<--- Allen
Oh my! Listen girl, if there is something that obviously would harm you if you ate it, then spit it out! If something would obviously harm you if you did it, then don't do it! *sighs* This little thing won't kill you, but I guess you'd like to get rid of that taste. *gets a few mushrooms out of the bag and checks them carefully* This one should help you get rid of the taste. Chew it slowly and carefully to make it wash your mouth. *hands them to the girl*
<--- Lina
*eats them as ordered*
<--- Allen
*watches the pale girl* So, to complete the lesson: I guess you liked the first fruit much more than the last one, right? *smiles*
<--- Lina
*nods* Oh yes! *still eating*
<--- Allen
*smiles* Good! That was the first lesson then: Comparing. Liking or disliking things is mostly about comparison: What is better? What is worse? You will learn to judge some things for your own good instead of waiting for orders. *smiles and shortly strokes her hair*
<--- Lina
*winces at the touch without even noticing herself*
*keeps on eating until the mushrooms are gone*
*takes deep breath*
<--- Allen
*withdraws his hand* Good good. However, I want you to wait here, in this clearing, with that stranger, okay? When I collected those fruits, I saw a tent that I'd like to examine, next to a strange house. I'll be back later, maybe with more fruits - there was also a garden.
*looks at the stranger*
*whispers into the girl's ear* If that person awakes and tries to hurt you, scream and I will come, okay? Do not let that stranger oder you around and make you do things you don't like!
<--- Lina
*nods*
<--- Allen
I hope she really understands. I don't trust this stranger, driving through the forest for no apparent reason. *looks at the girl and smiles*
*leaves*
<--- Lina
*sits and watches the stranger*

*have been holding out as the only one awake all the time*
*loneliness has tortured my soul endlessly*
*my mind has gone strange ways while I was trying to survive on my own*
*suddenly I get a new idea how to get further in this riddle*
*walk up to The Door, seeing it in its true nature for the first time*
*preparing myself for a very last mission here as I know I will not return*
*I concentrate all energy I ever had, have and will have*
*suddenly firing a giant golden glowing bezoar into the camp*
*it explodes there, taking everything material away and re-creating those who have been in it*
*the tent and the lab are gone*
*people and animals lie around*
*Archangelica lies, where the lab has been, covered in golden gauze which allows starlight to go through, yet no light man could see*
*next to her Vivian and Twilight, dressed in the same manner*
*Garfie, ToTo, Flower, TinMan, Natalie, Chris, Sally and Sylvester are lying where the tent has been, the humans also dressed in golden gauze*
*Elsa's energy ball has been formed into a human body shape, held by golden gauze alone, and is lying next to TinMan*
*all of them are in a state of deep and refreshing sleep, safe and sound, yet the moment of their awakening will define their future*
*I leave a message that everyone who will awake will hear and feel: *
*"Those who have been dead will be asked whether they want to be back alive."*
*"Those who have been alive will be asked whether they would like to change one aspect of their life."*
*"Those who have been in a state, neither dead nor alive, will be asked whether they want to keep their new live or return to their former existence."*
*"Your first answer will be granted. This is my last gift for you."*
*"Greet those who haven't been here today. Supamom, Giggle, Tilly, her daughter, my children, Kex, Lina, Thursday, Atchou ..."*
.
.
.
*I am totally exhausted now*
*only one thing left to do*
*I Enter The Door and <spoiler>*
