Problem :/

When im trying to connect any server it downloads everything and says:

"Cannot launch 2k4Menus"

Whats the matter?

When you say everything you mean all deathball files, right? That happens when you try to join a server with a different DB version to yours.

What DB version are you running? If it's the latest one (2.4k), and no servers work, you've probably installed it incorrectly.

But how could i install it incorrectly? ;p
Ive copy all things in all destination as the files was (Like system files to system etc.)

So what wrong could i do? ¬¬

Either the server you're trying to join is running a different version of deathball to you or it's installed incorrectly.

Did you unzip everything into its own folder (named deathball)?

Shall i reinstall deathball tomorrow again?
I gonna do it tomorrow, cuz i need to go sleep ;p I gonna write here tomorrow do i have still that problem.

You should be able to join THC, UFO, etc. with no problems. If not then something's up at your end so might as well try a reinstall I guess. Someone else might have a better idea.

this file exists twice. once in ut2004\textures and once in ut2004\deathball\textures

you might have mixed something up there or so, dunno.
you starting db with our link?

It sounds like you've put it all under UT2004/System, etc. What you really want is to have it all as it is in the zip - so UT2004/deathball/system, etc rather than the main UT2004 one for it to work (some UT2004 mods use a separate file system, some don't. deathball does).

You may need to reinstall UT2004 as well if it gives you that error (as you may have overwritten some of the default UT2004 files). That or upgrade to the newest patch if you haven't.

Reinstall UT2004, install the UT patch 3339 then install Deathball 2.4k and put it in the C:\UT2004 directory, the shortcut to start db is: C:\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=deathball

It should work after these steps.
