well i'd obviously question the "always" part but i wouldn't like to see boosting removed either.

I'm not sure I want to see boosting removed either.

But I can think of a dozen ways to make it a tad less effective.

Here's an example I just pulled out of my ass:
-After a boost, your quad jump becomes the 'non-noobified' style. You'll still be able to boost a teammate in those situations where he just needs a tiny boost, but you wouldn't be able to boost quite as far down field.

boosting should be made much stronger for same team, like 200% what it is now, but not allow jumping after being hit. It will essentiall let you hop over people opposed to clearing 3/4 of the pitch.

what about when enemy hits you? can you jump after that?
