Widescreen-FOV

Post by buzzrock »

I have edited the deathball config file to support 1440x900, but I can't find where the desired FOV line is located--
Is there a way to change the FOV

Thanks

To change the FOV just <tab> and <fov X>
im playing with fov 100 normall. i hate games where the fov is 80 or 90. i feel so restricted. very annoying.

widescreen... i have the same problem. im using 1680x1050...or was it 1650x1080?
anyway, hud is a little stretched and F3 screen is cut off. i think its an UEngine problem, dunno.
but you see more to the sides....which doesnt really help tho.
i wish i could just have it at 4:3 and have black bars at the sides.

Thx Beef, gonna check the link!

moo, link is useless. it only solves 3d problems that I don't have. only the hud is weird, but that can't get fixed.

yeah hud problems abound it seems, at least they have brought full widescreen support to UE3 :p probably need to hack around a bit to get the DB hud going, like detect aspect ratio and resize accordingly...

except for deathball im only playing c&c3 atm, which is great in widescreen. you see much more (still i wish they would just let me zoom out more..)

* 160 × 200 + 16 Colours
* 320 × 200 + 4 Colours
* 640 × 200 + 2 Colours

is the 3rd the dos/dosbox thing? :D
i always wondered what it was, because pixels are looking so strange there
