Australian clan looking to test play

AUS haven't played any international matches yet, but we (CxZ) would like to try

We went to sign up, but....both Australia and Asia are empty in clan lists. And from what i know, AUS and Europe/America don't make good pings

But we'd like to try having a match against both a European clan and a North American one. Just to see how things go.

We don't really wanna play against the best people ever that are coming first....just standard opponents to test what things are like

if your going to set up a match make sure whoever your playing has servers in Texas or California for NA. Those would give you the best pings by far.

G'day mate,

Due to the physical distance and the speed of light, EU <-> OZ pings won't get any better than 300ms (too lazy to do the real calculation).

I got better pings on my 14.4 modem.

But NaBs idea about a ENG vs AU game sounds great. I wonder if the game will be like the last soccer game AU played ENG.

we will scrim you whenever, not sure of the time difference tho. We are EST (-5 gmt), PM on quakenet.org or progameplayer.com, my name is SBS|gnomeh and we'll try to setup a time.
Also, incase your not sure how it'll work. We'll do 20/30 minutes on your server and then 20/30 on our server. Hope to play ya soon

hmm.. i sure hope that US pub servers are no indication of the worldwide skill level... i play on a few servers last night and no-one can even volley!

we volley on euro-servers ffs, volleying is pie, high ping volleyies are at least a challenge.

350 ping volleys are quite a challenge. o_O

I dunno, i kinda thoght the same thing yoyo, but....they probably think the same when they come to oz (seeing people like....umm i wont name any1 o_O)
