
It wasnt about simple passing, which i have no problems with at all (altho i do like to stay off of the right click button sometimes, simply because banana passes can do the trick way better in some situations, for me at least ^^;). It was about doing the all-famous "catalyst"-move, which i somehow find easier to assist for by holding the passbutton in advance, since i sometimes have to w8 for it to happen, which shudnt be :p but still...
I dont see what's wrong with it, it's just good anticipation if ur used to it and u can see the player being open, ready to do a cata, if the situation is best.

The cancelling comes in when ppl dont do it, and i cant pass to ne1 since ill get killed (ill mostly wait till i get hit, and then start searching for some1 else if the assistee still wont jump ^^;). I know its just a minor problem, and its basically just me being too singleminded about assists (meh, every1 whores it, so dont hit me :p). But it was just an example

Also, at long passes and moving the other way (yoyo's post), long passes are mostly done with primary fire, since it's more effective, and ur also forced to sometimes, because the player will be just out of lock reach, or u have the danger of him moving out of range just as u click (this stuff happens way too fast to react to sometimes).
Besides that, if u stay to the side as an attacker, or just 'camp' for a counter closer to midline (which is more effective imo), the keeper will mostly not get to it, and there's room and time to shake off/boost away/move infront of a defender.
About making start power of charge more powerfull, meh, wudnt like that ^^; would fuck up bananers too :p
And it eliminates the use of knowing how to cleverly know situations where normal (power-) and pass shots are more effective.
