Could be useful in 1.9 or a mutater could be made. Maybe there could be a choice as to how many balls there are and set a maximum something like that o_O

Again, you dont listen Surge. All we do is take away all the boring shit that comes with being in a clan until they get used to it and get better, and answer their questions and offer them tips. WE ARE NOT SCHOOL TEACHERS.

You think I'm nieve enough to expect 30 players, a lot of them fully grown adults, to listen to "intarweb ppl" telling them how they should play a game that is supposed to be fun? We get them games, we give them help and the odd tip. For example, if someones pinkie has an over emotional connection to the space bar, which in turn means their jumping around all the time, one of us will remind them that jumping all the time doesn't make you go any faster.

The only problem we're having at the moment is that a lot of these players have yet to turn up on IRC. No one has an excuse as there is a members only Java IRC client on the site. We can't make this work if people don't turn up on IRC as often as they can.

i'm pretty sure that's not true though. it does make you go slightly faster, even though DavidM said it was fixed. still jumping everywhere is not a good thing as it makes them harder to pass to.

it does make you go faster. When you catch the ball in the air you maintain 100% speed on the x and y axis. This means if you jump once, the pass is sent, you land, then jump again to catch it you'll go full speed for the other 3 jumps after your initial jump to catch the ball.

Also, jumping is the only way to truely deke someone out on offense without passing/dribbling/walling the ball. Its also a very good way to get open. Every time some 1 says that i should stop jumping, i laugh at the end of the game because i always have more goals and usually less deaths than them.

in a race you have to make sure that both are facing exactaly the same direction or the results will be off (this is actually harder to do than it sounds cuz you control your direction with your mouse, though i am sure if i thought about i could think of a way to do it)

you could still be slightly off.
do a 1on1 match and first to the halfway line from your spawned position wins.
i assume you'd spawn in the same relative place.

Yeh but some ppl start sooner 8-P
So u should use tourney mode ;)

Still..going faster does not weigh up to the fact that passes will go fucked up if u dont watch the jumping (proper timing = good yesh ^^;)

Don't forget, it's also an excellent way to miss the ball entirely.

I would like it if you could talk to my new keeper Norma. You can contact me or him in game, or irc, or through email.

Thanks.
