Best programs to record the audios?

I normally dont record the audio, I download the main mp3 file, and, right now I use audacity, but in lvl10 i got stuck, bcs it was working for me, and I thought it was in other part of the level, and i got spoiled by mistake, and the answer did not match at all with what i was getting, doing the same thing, help!!!!
