Okay I figured out the un/pw but it wouldn't take it. I'm 99% sure I understood the clue correctly. I saw some discussion about browser issues, so would I be correct that both Edge and Firefox have issues with getting the username right?

You should have no trouble with any browser now, that issue was back in the day but has since been fixed.
