More than likely, given that the maps would be useless without the mod. When they ask for custom maps, they mean only for the default game modes. Any others would be included in the mod finalists.

Really? I wouldn't have thought so.

I suppose it is based a lot on eye candy. DB maps aren't exactly famous for their eye candy are they? From what I've heard about the Faceoff maps (I've never played the mod), they are of a very high quality. Even so, I doubt anyone entered their DB maps.
