I think this is the best option...
Keeper-Sweeper-Midfielder-Attackers
cause (a typical argument in the future, if 1-1-3 :

Keeper: fuck you n00bs, 3 fucking goalhangers....
Sweeper: yeahh, it was 3v1...
Goalhanger.nr1: I added a, not d....not my problem... go back you attacker nr.2

yea i'm one of those noobies who adds d and plays mid neway, i can sweep but i'd rather not cos it's a bigger resposability than being boosted back. it usually depends on who u play with, sum attackers get moody if u boost them back, other just get on with the game

1 1 1 3 <--- me likes it. just don't have ---> 1 2 3 1 cos that means a whole 2 attackers in the pickup - is bad.

with 1-2-2 two attackers add and expect that the other one sweeps -_-

it gives the attacker the feeling that he can just goal hang :<
all have to work for def, so 1 sweep and 3 freelanders are good

midfield is pointless in db anyway, sounds like they dont attack nor defend.

Why put a position for mid? In my opinion, the person who goes up and attacks is part of the offence. When you lose the ball, you can't always say, your mid, so I'll boost you. You have little to no thinking and have to boost back whoever is in better position to get boosted.

All these ideas are good ideas, and may indeed work fine. But I can see pickups taking even longer as most players want to at least feel theres a chance of them scoring. I can just see ppl sitting there for ages saying "Come on somebody add sweep!!".

Of corse I could be wrong and being a bit pessimistic

Withoput the illusion of a possible attacking role I reackon there'll be a problem with ppl !adding s (sweep)

Oh, just noticed... what would the spectator add letter be?

If it did go ahead i reackon 1=keeper 1=sweeper 3=midfield

i find a lot of the time in a game, while some ppl just boost back when they've lost possesion it's sometimes that much better to attack the ball, remember a good offence can work well, some one has to attack the ball carrier.
