Replay format lacking

The replays show way too much of the play... it should only show about two seconds before and maybe a half-second after while counting the time till the new round. These replays are way too long and most have it disabled. I know many will agree with this.

i for one love the replays the way they are... what i would liek to see is the "celebration" period eliminated.

there's no point to it.. it;s much more fun to watch the replays.


eso: to appreciate the replays fully u gotta play on Cube... lowCube2 has bad camera angles... but there are talks of lowcube2.1 to fix the issue..

I disagree...

Quite a few times i have seen, the replay completely misses the action that CAUSED the goal....eg. a superbly timed pass that left the attacker open to plop an easy goal in....


BUT... please please please get rid of the end of match highlights....::Pfffff::

the slow motion is a bit too slow, its only like 2 seconds before the goal is scored yet replays stretch it to about 8 seconds.

i would prefer the replay to be a little faster paced, you would see less notches in the cam too.

*edit* Fiend, davidm said in one post that it will be optional for end of game highlights.

Make replay full speed and show it from middle of the defending teams half field. and then show it from the keepers perspective inside the middle of the net.

That should be the same duration as 1 slomo replay.

I noticed that as keeper you don't get a good replay view anyway.

no they are fisn as they are :| but they do need sound :D

Indeed they need sound, and we don't need the celebration phase removed either!

If that was removed, u would be stuck to the goal forever in pubs, and since most people don't want that, it would suck. O_o

You have to run out of pzone for another keep to be chosen, see?

(1) long celebration
(2) short celebration
(3) no celebration

public servers can run the above two.

this is no programming miracle either.. i'm sure it's fairly easy to implement.

Yesh..but deathball will end up with 3 full pages of available server options no1 cares about.

it depends on how the map maker sets up the Camera's... try LC3's new setup and i think keeps will apreciate it =D
