Shot Training Map (idea)

Post by Sqleaf »

Whilst playing DB-Halloween and trying to get the ball through the eye I had an idea.

Why not have a training map (DB-TrainingCourt2 maybe) that has smaller goals. Or even many small goals where the normal goal would be.

Could maybe have four small holes where the top/bottom corners would be and some down the middle. Would help people to improve there accuracy when shooting, banana'ing or vollying.

Shouldn't be too difficult to do. I'm sure theres some clever mapper out there who can bang it out in 10 mins.

There is a map like that out. However, it was made for smallcube to boost the accuracy of a vollier. Only space alound to get into for a goal was the small areas near the post. So you have to be a really good volley whore to get it in 60% of time in the top corner.

Well, as it shouldn't be too difficult I might have a go myself. Hope i can remember how

Should just be a case of copy/pasting some goals and shrinking them. Or putting a wall with holes in it, infront of the goal as it is. Actually the 2nd way is probably the easiest. I'll 'ave a go later.

Does the idea actually sound good to anyone? Would you or your team find it useful for keeper/shooting practice?

I'm gonna make it for myself either way, but wondered if anyone else would like a copy.

yes i think it would be good practice.

btw remember kids: if you open your crisp packet at the bottom, it means you have a girlfriend, WATCH OUT, this could be very dangerous!
