I've been a member of the DB community since it first began with the very earliest versions, I captained one of the first DB clans (BuD). And I've been heavily and lightly involved with the development of the game at some poit or another. I even wrote a couple of turotials for people new to the game, but lately my heart really hasn't been in it at all.

So when XMP came along, and grabbed my attention like some sort of... big mutated grabber thing... I took that up pretty damned quickly. My heart isn't in DB any more.

This is just a thread to say that I'll be giving up playing DB nearly so much as I have been, and I'm definately giving up DB development. If I didn't have to work under DavidM then perhaps I'd continue with it, but I'm fed up of having someone order me around all the time for something which I do of my own free will - if anyone else is willing to develop DB 2.0 then go to DavidM and ask - I don't really want to see DB die (never have done, never will do).

This thread isn't meant as another one of those "look at me! I'm leaving the community!" threads, it's just a bit of notice to everyone who knows me that I probably won't be around the community as much as I have been the past year and more.

Well this is a blow. 2.0 was starting to sound promising.

DavidM take it as a hint and lighten up so that ppl will be willing to work on this thing.

Nah, seriously...games are supposed to be fun, and if a game is no longer (as) fun...stop playing it (as much). You have done more than anybody else in DB as far as i have seen...mucho respecto :p

You were in the opposing team in my first eva db match...and made me re-evaluate the way i was playing the game (by thrashing the pants off us)

You started the pick-up channel ...

You fixed teh bounce (my fav move in db)...
