I haven't been stung (sp?) in years, and I keep finding out that some tickly feeling I've had for over a minute was that of a wasp sitting on my arm (or wherever).
It's odd..it's like they can't be arsed stinging you unless you freak out.
Besides, their sole existence isn't to sting you.

They are however huge fucking bitches when it comes to defending their nest..we had one in our garden two years ago and everytime someone came out the garden would be filled with wasps in a matter of seconds.
It was a fun game running out and making the garden come alive with wasps, then trying to run back in without getting stung
