faces have been tweaked
my main concern are the hair
its hard to make good stuff in 3rd, the lighting also likes to fuck it up
but we are improving

The hair doesn't bother me tbh. I know realistic hair is very difficult in the Unreal engine, what with its alpha channel problems.
Simple, maybe slightly comical, styles would work well I think. Helmets would be good too.

we wanted to add helmets, but this would get us into another unsolvable problem
the haircuts would go thru the helmet.... x_X
it aint that easy

Just disable the haircuts when the helmet's on? If the visors are dark colours/stylised then it won't matter much. Heavier armour would be nice to see, I'd also like to see the flip animations put back in for celebrations if possible. Setting a "celebration style" might be cool

you would recognize the helmet being on a bald head, you usually see hair coming out on all sides

Even in more professional games like Tony Hawk Underground the hair just dissapears when a helmet is put on.
Why try making it come out under the helmet? (or have I just read that wrong?
)

Helmets would basically just be a different hair style. Add hair to the helmet model itself. Seems a pretty simple addition to me.

sorry for my rude language about the models earlier today.
with my "they suck" i didnt mean that actually the idea of customizable models is bad.
problem is that they still need lots of work and it was refered to the fact that they dont really work yet. guess saying "they suck ATM" wud have cleared things up - so my mistake and no offense.
