Anyway Messy that was the Union Jack, not the England flag. If you had set foot in England it'd be an unavoidable symbol, what with

No, it's only called the Union Jack at sea. Anywhere else it's the Union Flag.
How poor was the German defence? Can't see them doing too well unless things improve. They need Huth fit.

Anyway, it was defintely a poor defensive game. Costa Rica did as expected of them I reckon. Maybe even excelled with the 2 goals.

I think Costa Rica's second goal was more deserved , but the first one ... easily could have been prevented if the German defence was stronger. It was a good opening match

I am changing my prediction to 2:1 , even that is still hopeful , England are one of the best teams going on paper ..... it's just when it comes down to it , well .... let's just say I hope they do well
