Well the map appears to have been well received (which is a tremendous relief). I started a poll a couple of days ago and so far the results I'm seeing are good.

Not a huge number of votes yet, but the majority seem to like it. :)

OK the first URL to the final and bug-free version is up.
However this URL is for the copy of the map WITHOUT music. I made this no-music copy of it for all you people who already had downloaded the previous version, so you could be saved a hefty download. If you don't have the map yet but don't care about missing out on some new music then by all means feel free to download it.

the new version DOES have music. I'm still waiting for the one with music to be put up. I just posted the link for the people that already had the music, or didn't want it.

ahaha, look I'm sorry to do this to you guys that already have downloaded the update. I've just found that the 1.7 addition features part of the tutorial is up. So don't bother downloading the map now, I'm updating it again with the special spectator cameras, and post sounds. Sorry.

As soon as DB 1.7 comes out, I will be adding the special spec cameras, and post sounds. Once I have done this I shall release the map as DB-TheWarehouse][. :)

DavidM could you put up a copy of the 1.7 deathball.u file? I want it not to play it, but just so I can add the extra cameras and penalty starts now. That way DB-TheWarehouse][ will be ready for release as soon as 1.7 is. Or if you can't be bothered doing this, could you give me a url to one of your old 1.7 betas (if the db_camerascript is included in any of them)?

Well I've added the camera script and the camera marks. It looks like I won't be able to add penalty starts until 1.7 is released.

I haven't made any mention until now, but I have already started my second DB map. I'm not saying what sort of layout you can expect, but I will say that it has an aztec/egypt theme. I may have some screenies in a week or so. ;)

I've started on the lighting for my 2nd map. If I make good progress tonight, you may see a screenie tomorrow. :)

Well I haven't yet completed ALL the lighting but I promised screenies, so here they are. As in DB-TheWarehouse I wanted to add some variety in gameplay, hence the rather unique center section.

You will more than likely notice the rather large dark patch in front of the goals. This is the area of lighting I am yet to finish. I'm uncertain what the light source for the center should be, but I'm looking.
