i thought the ref was that kind of ref that likes to control the game, always deciding in favour of the defenders, it suked tbh.
but i actually think that the sent off was a good decision. Heitinga was having a slightly violent behaviour, thou the ref sent him off for not much of a fault..

but lets not talk about the referees, they are just human, they make mistakes, and they sumtimes tend to be biased (unfortunately)

and of course, there are also those who get paid or told to be biased

but i doubt thats the case in Euro2004, that might have happened in WC2002 thou... ^^

yea, but with the penalty, it could have been 3-1 @ half time and a totally different match...

now, i see germany winning vs czech and holland going back to home.... really sad when u see the lvl they played tonight, and when u look at others teams supposed to be better, and which plays a worst football .... bah

czechs didn't deserved to win, one bit.
The netherlands were awesome, we were so fucking excited after the 2-0. The match was beyond fun.

Things that went wrong tho:
1. Cocu, bad pass, goal!
2. The ref, one sided, asshole!

the reason i believe the czechs deserved the win is because Ruud's goal should never have been allowed.

he was blantantly offside when in a passive position (so technically legal) and was still about a yard offside when the ball was played to him.

the sending off WAS unnecessary though.

heskey better on than owen tbh, owen is good but in the wrong tactical play with rooney, especially when its hit and hope crap.
