He's saying that what he means with 'shooting' includes everything from charged shots to volleys and any other way to score (pass shot, td, bounce and the bug shot before ;) that's all I can think of atm)

Geez is it so hard to understand? ;p


Anyway, I hate the way a lot of n00bs just want to learn how to volley, because they think it's flashy and cool and skilled :)

A decent shot is way more exciting and way closer to an 'artform' (whilst it isn't ;)) than volleys though imo.


I remember the old days where everyone would just make kick-arse faked shots past defenders..
..although that was 4th division and defenders had bad timing back there ;)

*sigh* I don't even have proper timing for those anymore now :s



I don't get it though, shots are flashier, safer, and cooler than any volley you can think of :\
And I'm not even speaking about bananas :x

i did understand what he meant, and i excluded shots cos there are just a few people who know how to shoot with a charged shot. read messy :P

what about making a (TD) market behind the td goals in scoreboard? we already have V and OG, so TD should be in :P

Increase the volley radius for the keeper please..

I think I read somewhere that the keeper volley radius is smaller than the normal volley radius.

Doesn't make sense to decrease the keepers volley radius. I may be wrong about the entire thing, but if I'm right then please fix this :/

The problem the keep volley radius and catching radius decreases by a lot for a little while after a shot or volley. This way you can't stop the ball if it's shot at close range, unless they're specifically aiming for you.

Notice how nobody was complaining in 2.2 about all the ball going through them and the "cannot volley sound".

how ironic. in 2.2 there was a real going through problem with close range volleys, which was fixed in 2.3

if a goalkeeper got a hand to a header 3yrds out, it doesnt go through his hand

In 2.2 the going through problem didn't happen that often; in 2.3 the going through not a problem causes more than half the goals. IMO 2.2 was much better.

Why not just give keepers back their radius and have not so high scoring games?

highscoring aint bad with replays off :)

but its agrivating going from mid/def being used to once volley radius, then getting in keep and whiffing cuz suddenly your hammer is short :O

water must be cold in that pbox :D
