Nope, just being deliberately mysterious.

Basically, Angelica's fight with Giggle caused Giggle to become weak, so she went into the house to get gold, then she got kidnapped. It's all Angelica's fault.

No, you were doing the right thing, trying to stop the fight. Giggle has a LOT of energy - it was because of Angelica that she lost it all. You had little or no effect on her.
