I expect Epic to pimp DB at the E3. At least they said they would advertise some, so DB would be the first there I guess.

How about we stop #dbpickup for say a week and bombard the noobs! We can make them all non- idiots once they warm to the not so idiotic way we act.
they're mostly dumb idiotic non europeans we just need to bombard the pubs and tell them what's what. I'm sure if we gang up on them they'll realise that we have more power.
I think that team vortex could have ops in the decent pubs and keep an eye on things. We should report mis-behaviour in #dbpickup or in a post and make sure those people are warned then banned.
Rules should also be set as to what happens to thosethat mis-behave and to how to ban people etc.

I didin't really read this through so...
1. I think that pickups should be something you have to sing up for so people like ME would be banned from playing 'cause i'm too crap you j00.
2. Custom map servers should be BANNED they just really confuse the stupid noobs as to what DB is about.
3. I've been setting up a group of friends 107+ for months now we are signed up as a db team just we only have 5 and they're not exactly regular... It's hard to kep in contact with them... I try to employ new nice noobs if they turn out to be arse hoes we justkick them out hence..5. ATM we're making a mod for nwn to keep us occupied
4.sumthing else of great importance
I have nothing but gratitude for the new db beta though it's elite

Sure, some people started pubbing.. but most people moved on or play exclusively in scrims.
if you want to do things like stopping pickups.. make sure you have a viable alternate plan first. "just join pub" didnt quite cut it.
