How to report bugs effectively

I got that same cd-key prob with my installation too.

Tried deleting the ini files mentioned at the top of this page, but it makes no difference

you prolly deleted your ut2004/system/ defuser.ini and default.ini
right?

well.. I tried that (by moving them to my desktop, and then back when i was finished). But that also didn't help

FYI - Can't pass or shoot bug with the latest version.

With the latest version, several times I was unable to pass or shoot when I had the ball. Never had this happen in any of the other UT2004 versions.

oh i had that once, i think it was on a ball spawn instead of being gibbed i had the ball, but unable to fire.

I had it several times getting the ball several different ways. Seemed to be random as to when it happened.

In SC the player that spawns with the ball faces the wrong way.

Well.. I just reinstalled my entire computer. and therefore also ut2004.. but I still keep getting that invalid cd-key rubish..

Well at least i know it's not my fault now
