I want them back. It's fine to want a "unique" visual style for DB, but I don't wish it forced upon me.

i would love the db models had it not been for the fucking retarded hair styles and the body armour looking really really cheep and so obvious its just a static mesh stuck onto a player model

Look, it needs alot of job, I like it, even tho its hard to make, I suggest you find another modeler asap. Its coming along ok, just a bit of variation would be in order, I also suggest you leave the old models IN till the (current) ones are fairly good

I prefer UT2k4 skins. The new skins are ugly

Tp be honest David if i were u i'd say something more than thanks you , to that 65% of the players of ur MOD that disappoint the new customizable skins...

Ye i understand u want to go for ur way out from UT, but i don't think u will replace the graphics engine too...
Btw the customizable idea is great as long as players like the skins, not when the most thinks they are't that nice thing...
So i think would be better keep the customizable skins as option, and add the default skins, as long as the editor and the models will look better amd we'll be able to chose more than 5faces 12haircut 4 armours



and about the skins, in my opinion:

1) Don't like shorts in a volent sport like db is, with no armours on legs.
2) The actually state of skins confuse me, i can't notice the colors of players only looking @ shorts, so it's harder now to see ur teammates
3) Armours are uinrealistic and crap

That's the only problem I have with them. But they are still alpha, I'm sure they'll get better.

Well a simple solution could be to change the color of the shirt ...

What I would love to see. is the abilty to more then just red and blue, and add in all the colors of the rainbow

now to make this possible you simply do this

Team 1 = Home
Team 2 = Away

Home team will always have the white jersey and the color of the team
Team 2 will always have the jersey the solid color of the team.

it'd be kinda fun in my opinion for atleast leagues/clans.

this by no means is player specific. would probably need to be set by server admin that team 1 = choosen color team 2= choosen color. so we don't have a rainbow teams

too much work for no effect.
color changes have to be in 1000 places
also the colors in the maps would have to be changed
its all not worth the effort, it would take forever to get this all done
