you complain about the diving, but the truth is Gerrard did the most ridiculous diving of the Euro so far, somewhere in the first minutes of the game!
We portuguese know the "art of good diving" :S

thats a fair point Cenotaph. Rooney was given much too much space. And this won't be the case with Portugal. They will have a man on him at all times.
But the beauty of the England sqaud is they have so many quality attackers. Rooney gets a lot of attention, but Scholes, Lampard and Gerrard to name just a handful have already shown their worth. The back 4 are excellent. Campbell being one of the best central defenders according to many.
I just don't see that kind of depth in Portugal. They do have the home side advantage and that may be critical in bringing the best out of the team tho.
Both teams are like Jekyll and Hyde. Sometimes they play utter shite. Cagey, weak, uninspired.
But then at other times its like magic.
Whatever happens, it will be a great a game. I just hope it doesn't go to penalties :s

agreed, king continued to show remarkable composure when he was brought on...
Terry was solid, but didn't sparkle... injury perhaps?
the boy Rooney is a fooking legend. best player of the tournament by miles.
(nedved a close second)
I don't think nedved is that strong tournament, rooney is, but others are too (ronaldo, robben)
Could be close

yea zidane has kept france alive.
but i think now that Henry is scoring again, France may stand a better chance.
Although it was against the Swiss... so no big deal i guess.
Ronaldo is talented, no question about it. He reminds me of Giggs but with a lot more flair (too much perhaps).
but he really does fall over too easily.
Cenny: Yea Gerrard's 'dive' did seem awful. I haven't seen a replay of it so I wonder if he may have caught someone since it's really out of character for him to dive.

thats a common problem to every portuguese player, unfortunately
what's even worse is that most of the times, they manage to get the free kicks.
EDIT: we also forgot Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he is doing quite well too

Only thing i remember about Ibrahimovic is that back heel goal. Possibly the goal of the tourney so far.
Results aside, England have not played a bad game so far, so I don't see why we shouldn't be pleased.
