That's 2 clicks.

Not only do I prefer the keyboard over the mouse, that's twice the input I normally use =P (backspace)

I love the way you can just type in the link and go there in Firefox too :D yay

Just wanted to know about possible mouse gestures in Firefox o_O

http://optimoz.mozdev.org/gestures/
or
http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/mo ... 20Gestures

It's an extension, and one of the most popular ones. Completely customisable (right down to custom gestures for custom actions)

Firefox 0.9.2 + mouse gestures + adblock = web-browsing nirvana

thats mozilla fire-black'n'white

to be honest its totally useless and just takes longer than using the keyboard
only voice control is worse and slower :)

Hmm, if only we could use brainwaves as input :(

Eye gestures would be good too, provided you had some way of ignoring regular eye movement (holding a key?)

anyway, thanks plær

use it for a day
It takes a little time for the brain to reprogram. BUT, once you get there, you can never go back. I get pissed off when I use a webbrowser without them.

When you find yourself automatically gesturing in other programs, you have reached the level of dependence ;)

But, it's always up to each individual user, to use them if they like them, or not. And that is what firefox is all about :)

Well, that and not being a security-hole-ridden piece of shit.

i have 2 mouse gestures set... one to scroll to the top of the page, and the other to scroll to the bottom of the page. (also got a page incrementer programmed)

very handy in forums like these.

not a big deal since we *do* have scroll bars...

but its such a time saver

going to the scroll bars requires moving your wrist. This is slow and bad for rsi. Mouse gesture means I only have to move my fingers \o/

try myIE2... that has mouse gestures too

http://www.maxthon.com/en/index.htm

one of the best ie alternatives available

uses the ie shell so theres no compatiblity issues

its got tabbed browsing, mouse gestures.... pretty much everything

and its free :)

i use it as a backup when firefox fails to read 'ie only' web pages.

I understand his dad, a lot of people just want everything 'as normal as possible'.

This in order to stop conflicts etc., they minimize the actual risk, thinking it'll never happen to them anyway.

A lot of parents have this, they don't understand the meaning of tweaking and stuff like that either.

Well maybe they're just right and we're all geeks 8)
