Yes, I still think the newer version is too narrow. However, you could still adjust it. I think a even wider Anomoly would offer better gameplay. See how my map pans out. There are plenty of ways to widen your map besides the layout I used.

I hope my map gives you an idea on how to improve Anomoly and still be the different map that it currenly is. I like how having the goals offset effects gameplay. I see several possibilities for layouts that each offer something a little different.

Map sizes:

Cube: 8192 x 4864
Bowl: 8192 x 6144
Most volley only maps 4096 x 2560

Anomoly 1.1: over 7680 x less than 2560 at it widest

Askew: 8192 x 3840
LittleAskew (coming soon) over 6144 x 3072

Anomoly 1.1 is almost as long as cube but it's the narrowest map I know. In my opinion, a long but so narrow map hurts gameplay. As I said above, there are lots of possibilites.

Pic below: Anomoly 1.1's layout inside Askew's.

Thought I should mention that the anomoly1.1.ut2 mapname isn't allowed by the server/redirects.. I renamed it on BuD as DB-Anomoly11.ut2
