beta testing going longer wouldnt have helped a little bit, been proven several times.

i can live with servers with 3 different versions. this is much better than buggy full released.
im not gonna discuss more on this. what we do now proved to produce excellent results.

I support this mod and it's evolution. I'm ready to put up 2.1d as soon as it's ready (or before). My server will announce itself as such too - if the people attempting to connect don't read the version in the servername, that is no fault of mine. I also go the additional step of announcing the change in most DB irc channels.

To noone in particular.. seniority doesn't necessarily equal wisdom.
