ah very good point sixty... well im sure its not impossible to open up a new #dbp . Just for new players.. because the format of pickup is one of deathballs best features. Because the bot is there it can go to anouther channel.. with no problems if im correct.

stop being afraid to play pick up games with noob players. the best part of a pickup with or without new players is that you can tell them they need to play a certain position, or you kick them and do it politely please. asking them to come back later when they have matured more about sportsmanship type play.

it can only help - it just depends how the admins handle it.

#dbpickup is for everyone. If it wasn't, then there'd be no new players. :p

It should be, but no matter what the channels purpose is, peoples opinion. Personnally i woudnt mind playing with some new commers, i often give them private training.. but, having said that id be sick of it if the games werent highquality

teach them to play, be helpfull in them. if they don't get the hang of it. suggest they train more before trying more mixers/pugs

As i recently noticed, there was a full public game with all new players. Who seemed to be enjoying themselfs, and im sure if they were aware about the #dbpickup , they will come and play it more often. Also join and form clans. we need to do this now, so we can practice for the CE edition release when more players come! I dont know how we are going to promote this, other then go to servers and tell them. Which will take along time because ive noticed a lot of them dont know what IRC is. The ones ive got, i had to add them to msn, send them link to my guide and from there it all happend.

Any ideas?

hmm i dont play there much anyway but if there is lo9ads of so called n00bs join dbpu, im gonna have to say goodbye

1.) they may be gay and ruin things for fun
2.)NONE of them will be good, fucking up pickups
3.)Alot of moaning will take place, authing, downloading versions and so on
