I liked Speedball

Played a remake on the original gameboy

i'd be interested in a speedball-esque mutator.....

just stuff to add some of features that might work in db, eg

gaining points for an alternative goal - eg a tiny hole in the ceiling which counts when the ball is vollied in...or something)

short powerups (increased speed, health ... maybe done with a rune system so that you can only carry one at a time and once used respawns)

True there, strategy games had developed a lot in the years. While i would not state C&C there.
Thought the sport games hardly have changed in controlling, while the games got into 3d, the controlling nearly stated the same. With keyboard/joystick you steer one guy at a time and rest are steered by the AI, with a few buttons you have shoot, pass and tackle.

I think you guys with Deathball actually finally started a new style, with first person view. Thats if you dont count UT as a sport game.

Btw is there actually a list of all deathball teams? This League button on the deathball website doesnt work, well the button does but the site it links to doesnt.

Are these only the shortcuts or actually the teams name? If second than its totaly something diffrent then what i expected more something like Raging Panthers. Oh well.

Yo someone knows how this game was called, (also old, but on pc) was kinda a american football familiar game. It was in a fantasy world (much like the new Chaos League) where you could hire new players. The field looked like a football field, but at each end there was such a small water dig, with a shark in. The goal was to get a fish i think, past that water dig (and the shark) into a Woodbarrel.

It are the 'shortcuts' yes.

ab will have a second team too... if all the inactives come active...
