No, really, Canada *ISNT* America, America is a country, the Americas (North and South) are continents and usually bare no relation to nationality.

Canadians = people from Canada
North Americans = people on the continent of North America

Why do you think their community is named NA and not American?

Because their community doesn't include South America, which would be strange anyway because it would be unplayable with the large pings.
