You're supposed to put it on a floppy or cd and boot from it. Didn't you read the instructions?
If it was overheating it wouldn't just blue screen while loading DB. It's definitely (don't quote me on that ^^) a memory related problem. Whether hardware or software I couldn't say. That's what Memtest will tell you.

I'd uninstall service pack 2 if I were you. It might not fix your problem, but it's a good move.

It looks like it's only for DB now..
I just played 30 minutes of TDM with no problems. I still can't load DB because it just gives me a black screen with the mouse icon. Not the DB mouse icon, the regular one for windows.
I'm gonna wait for DavidM on this one..

You can always delete your deathball.ini and deathballuser.ini and try that 'play deathball.cmd' again.
Definately something funky going on there.

Imag: That doesn't work. I just tried it and it gave me the black screen w/ the moveable mouse. It decides to work sometimes.. Man this thing loves screwom' around with me.
Koning: Never heard of that to be honest.

Memtest86 is one of the first things you should run when building a new computer. You cannot rule out a bad stick or wrong timings at this stage, corsair or not.
