thats not on purpose, but it's no problem anyway. if you can TD (which hardly happens) it's your choice if you want it again (with the enemy having the ball first).

it's just a technical problem. the volume in the goal, which triggers the goal closing and opening process, only recognizes the ball. i could also make it recognize players...but then you could switch goals without balls, by just running into it (and without scoring) :o

It's a bit pointless isn't it? I was privileged to witness the same thing with 3 players on each team. Joy.

hmm, you could try to use the Blue/RedEvent1 with a SequenceStepper - iirc i made a scoreboard with them and some movers for my SkyCourt map before i found the replication 'bug' in the message texture client :)
On the other hand i'm not sure, if i wrote that SequenceStepper myself or it's a built-in...

For a good, tough, 1 on 1 match, Max and I just play the geeball variants I've been editing and geeball2. Smaller goal that makes it a challenge even if you have the keeper beat by a mile.

Also, Max had his ego stroked big time today. We were duking it out as usual in Geeball and were joined by someone named 'UKdemon'. This guy was pinging a little high and wasn't doing all that well prob because of that, but you wouldn't know it from how he was talking it up.
Apparently, this guy fancies himself as an expert on gay, and in that capacity let us know how gay our American server was. Guess Max didn't care for that, cause he proceedes to go supernova hot and starts hitting the goal with damn near every shot he takes at it. I manage to answer his scoring with about a 1:4 ratio and our guest by this time is howling that Max is using an aimbot, that I am too and our shots are cheating. He didn't want to hear anything about practice or the many hours we play on this map. It culminates in him leaving in a huff with us laughing. Oh well.
Anyone know that guy? Tell him to come back sometime. We'll teach him how to play.. and to not try to go on your teammate's back to hit the same ball.. gah! He did that to me so many times I stopped watching the ball and just went where he wasn't so I can get rebounds.

Good times.

Ok, looks like i wrote that SequenceStepper myself
Anyways i modified the map to use it and looks like it now switches properly with every goal, no matter if shot or touchdowned... \o/
so if David doesn't mind and anyone wants it i could upload it somewhere...

Does it ignore replays now?

as Blue/RedEvent1 is only triggered once right after the goal is scored it works the same with and without replays. But movers are in the wrong place during the replay as they already changed by then...

its really not worth fixing! :o

use it as tactical matter that a touchdown can keep the same goal open for another time

It's a feature now?

I don't like it /o\

He doesn't know how to fix it himself, so yeah, it's a feature now.
