Hmm I noticed that too, but thought it was part of the 3 second curl thing :s

if you start charging up within 2 seconds after pressing the curve button, it will be curved.

Strange design choice. Can't imagine a valid purpose for it.

Maybe for those without an 8 direction mouse ball ? :s dunno, was introduced a beta or so ago o/

Btw how much were the goal sizes decreased by?

i dont think the goals are decreased..

the goals would feel smaller cuz the ball is bigger? at least that's what i understood..

(ball is bigger cuz the forcefield is part of the ball now)

Huh? How would being able to set the curve before you start charging help that? Just re-read the 2.4i change list and yeah, it does say that (misread it the first time ). Doesn't change it's pointlessness though.

As Priior said, the goals are the same size.

priior is right.

its a help for people with bad controls. so they can define the banana before they start shooting.

btw... curving was reducing 80% every ground hit....i lowered that, so it keeps curving more

Still don't see how it helps but, if it does, then obviously I can have no complaints.

Good, good. It didn't quite gel with the roll.

A few things still need to be done physics wise (if going for realism). The surface type should be taken into account for the physics (and "roll") e.g. slippery (icedemon). Deflections should impart spin on the ball. The ball should "roll" down slopes.

Are you going to convert all previous maps to 3.0 or will you drop some? IceDemon is currently way too narrow for the bigger goals. If you get slope physics working can you bring back Sediment (maybe with reduced inclines)? It would help to show it off.

tbh in a good game it is like in a good film. U need to be unrealistic otherwise it isn't good. there are things whcih u can make more realsitic than others, imo u can't make DB a comprehensible real game because then it wud suck and it IS a game which won't ever exist in real life i guess so u can't compare it with conditions we have in real life or what football is like.

weird post \o/
