The penalty kick is only the LAST resort. After TWO sets of overtime, when it is more than likely it will end with one.

please explain how the pk WOULDN"T suck, i can't think of a way that is even remotly fair to keepers, absolutly pure luck (if the O is any good), and do you want to decide games on luck? i don't

if you actually balance it, set the right distance, it could be fair :p

640 units is the current standard distance that is being set up, and that should be more than sufficient distance for the keeper to make a save. It's not like only ONE team gets there shot at enemy goals.

I've tried it with hummel from the dot inside the pzone in db-cube and i can tell u, it's impossible for the keeper =/ No exception ball always goes in.
Also we all know the shot has a pretty high chance of going in from pzone line, if the attacker shoots right and creatively (bananas, fakes, etc.
A different set of physics for the pks wud also not be good (like different shoot power, different dodge etc.), and a distance beyond pzone line would be too easy!
So how good the idea might sound and how cool it might be to think of it, it just wudnt fit in deathball as it is (mind u: all imo).

But in RL the penalty is in almost always... (championsleage final 03 doesnt count^^) (also not world cup final 94, r. baggio... i could go on whole day). So keepers do not need to have a chance...

ur fast

but nah, for this to be fair from first division deathball all the way down to pubs, it needs to be a lot more fair, trust me.
