Kisa, you are having problems with links in email notices?
All the emails I get the link leads directly to the new post. Maybe I'm not understanding what you mean.

And my log in issues seem to be resolved, I didn't have to log in this time to post this.

Ah, didn't know about notpron.org. It doesn't surprise me that that domain isn't setting any cookies, as the forums are set up for deathball.net.

notpron.org/forum being used in emails etc. certainly appears to be the problem.

NOW i see what you were talking about. Some email links are notpron.org and some are deathball.net!

I've made it set cookies to notpron.org now.
So if you use the deathball.net domain it will probably fail.
I think using notpron is better, if there is just one choice, because more are active there.

When I get emails from the board (not private messages) just the open forum they look like this

When I click on them they want me to log in, I log in and it takes me back to the log in window. I can not get to the forums with those links.
Can this be fixed?

Notice the difference in the links? Why is it doing that?

Yo, Administrators, head to the Administration panel.

On the left side, there are:
- cookie settings: set cookie domain to notpron.org, set the cookie path to /forum/
- server settings: set domain name to notpron.org, set script path to /forum/

That should usually do it. One of those probably still has deathball.net set ...

I wondered why I couldn't stay logged in. The link on the deathball.net home page needs to be changed if notpron.org is going to remain the default.

Maybe someone should put it as an announcement at the top of the forum too I dont link here from the notpron page so I was confused about not being logged in until I read this thread lol
