Yeah, seriously dude not many people will give you up-to-date hardware just because you asked for it. I myself have a P4 3.06gHz, Radeon 9700 pro, 120gb SG Barracuda 7200rpm, Sound Blaster Audigy 2, and 1gb of rambus ram (that's all the major parts anyway). But in order to get all that I've spent several months saving up for each part.

heh, couple of years ago someone sent me a geforce 2MX for free (guy from my old CS clan) and i still use it to date. Who says people dont give away free stuff ? just gotta find the right people
