Bullet, if you're not having fun, then leave plz. We don't really need your negative attiitude around anyway.
Since you've made such a bold prediction, why don't you show you believe it and leave now since none of us will be around in a month anyway.
Orbital, I'm sorry if some way if I offended you, but I am stating the truth. I don't personally think the mod is good, but in time it does get boring. I ventured to deathball about a year ago, because I was owning at Bombing Run, and wanted to spice up my experience. I found, in Deathball 1.3, was a good, addictive game.
I do like how the mod is going toward the emphasis on the team-based, but I would like the fact that if one squad has a player that can do it all, they should acknowledge it. One version did that -- 1.4b. Back then I was in a relatively shit clan called [MS]. Though we were new, we could beat average clans, North American/Euro.
I remember, one friendly versus [MS] and cY.13, where I was playing defense with an average ping. Though we tied and lost those two games, we passed the ball to our best attacker, Zuto. He is now known as Fizzy. He was possibly one of the best european players back then who knew how to dribble past any defender. But, that was when I was new to the mod, and it was fun.
It's still fun to play, but gets more and more routine. If you think I have a negative attitude,
you can screw yourself because if I state an opinion, I don't wish to get flamed.
The prediction I made is a joke, somewhat of a bold assumption. But, if players like KR, Gib, etc. leave, I think that the mod doesn't do it no more for the people. Sure, they have lifes, but who doesn't.
Berk: We don't pick up the majority of the player in the NA community, if we did, our roster would total over 20 people. Some come and go, but we select the people who want to join, and who play to the similar style we do.
Some of our recent pickups, we get average to good players, like Insane, chevy, cordawg. They are individually good, but in a team, they have to learn how to play.
I'm sure everyone wants to know how we win all the time, I'll tell you, we see how the game is played and rely on others to open up an oportunity for themselves to receive the ball and score. Sure, people can say we cannot win without Xelent. However, the fact is, even though he is the best attacker in North America, he does his thing. We just back him up and pass to him in the right time. We do this every match we play.
We emphasize also to chevy, since he is new to the clan, we tell him to relax and just play. Relaxing and playing the game is the best way to win. "JUST PLAY", see how the game is played out.
