seems like you havent thought for 1 second about it messiah, if a clan tried to whore this move you would laugh at them wildy as they keep passing the ball to you. the whole reason the trick works is because then defender isnt expecting it.
Now go use a braincell and work out a way of countering it. Ill give u a hint, dont hit them towards your goal...oh shit i just gave u the answer.

the way you can always get this to work is to NOT let them hit you the first time, then its impossible to stop unless there is a camper. also, under pressure its hard to think of stuff like hitting them away from the ball because of the element of suprise. also, you can see the way they will boost you because of the direction they are moving and can adjust, so the attacker has an advantage there. just my 2 cents

I hate all the delays in deathball. Delays aren't the right way. Play gibball and you will see how good your reflexes and skills are. I think there aren't delays at all. Maybe some in DB are useful but if the ball flys straight past me into the goal and I can't volley it because of a stupid delay. Lower the volley radius or do whatever but delays ruin the game

I agree completely, delays are sooo annoying.
