like i said , vo is good for a quick laff, thats y the vo servers are full, hell i always drop onto 1 , just for 10 mins of madness, but in a league format i could see it quiclky becoming boring

There is a community inside deathball that plays VO all the time. That's what keeps the servers full. For them, a VO league might be a blast.

volley sucks and should be removed from db all together

the last thing we need is for the wall kids to complain about stuff and try to get db changed to be better for VO league... imo VO league would get old fast as when the D and keeper got good @ stoping volley @ 5 v 5 volley only would stop being the fast paced high scoring game that ppl love to fuck around in.
back in the day there was a NA 3 v 3 VO league which ppl seemed to like pretty well seems to me that 3 v 3 > then 2 v 2 cuz you can actually have team work

heh..j/k, I can shoot, but sometimes VO is more fitting, that's when it's 1on1 or 2on2, since regular would just be way too easy.

Yeh, deathball would be so much better with a major portion of the community gone. Deathball has way too many servers, way too many players, and way too bright a future.

To me, VO is DB. It's fast, it's violent, and it takes skill. Honestly, I think DB is more fun in smaller maps with arena settings. How often do you see a map running November with a full house? I think DB is a lot more similar to hockey (played in an arena) than soccer (on a big ass field). Virtually all DB maps are some type of arena. Making that arena smaller make for a faster, more intense game.
Back to a point in my original post, can VO be made a votable option? Like a map vote? If VO is chosen, then regular oals would be disabled for the map?

DB is about teamplay and VO does not really promote that.
Like other said, it's nice for a fast pub match, but for a real league i spose it'd be too boring. The 2on2 cup with knockout running atm is a good alternative tho..

Not all VO players are self wall volley whores. The majority of the goals I get in VO are feeds from other people. The best VO goals I have seen involve two or three people making great passes and sets. Spend some time in Twigster's with the regulars there and you'll see some awesome teamplay.
