Nah, don't man. One of the things I'm loving the most about DBW, is that I can very comfortably play it on a really laggy server and still do well. People will probably find it more fun when there are more maps to play on.
Go Warfare!

too different to kill it...

A bullet can kill a rabbit.
A bullet is made of steel, a rabbit is made of organic material.
A bullet is made to kill, a rabbit eats his veggies.
A bullet does not procreate, a rabbit is ace at multiplying.
A bullet is not alive, a rabbit can be.
So why wud that be a reason?

Can we slow UT2k3 down any more.
I am thinking that the sounds are about right for the gamespeed. The games we played in 1978 are now being played in 2003. The unreal engine is designed for unreal graphics, unreal speed, unreal fun. warfare is slow or you dont get enough turns (turn based game like warlords on atari), Tennis....just call it pong the first game put out by atari for its console. Deathball...a fantastic team oriented game that pulled me from CTF (like it did to whole clans (in early version history)) is now pushing me back to wanting more for my time. I never see more than 100 players. Most of the time it is 0, but will see 20-45 players (in pockets of 3-5 per server).
How will a game win the prize when its player populations are losing its numbers as if it had the plague.
I have played since 1.6.
The game should be atleast as realistic as it would be when played in real world...add a few unreal characteristics and now you have your game.
Note to DavidM:
Adjust the game to attract players. Listen to the players that play the game, they know what needs fixed and what doesn't. You might just win the MOD contest. You will not win if your games server populations are declining. This game is a year old and many revisions later...Your games server populations should have gone from new mod type to over population. There should be 20 servers packed with peeps waiting to play at all times. There are 7 - 10 during peak hours and I cant play on 6-8 because pings are over 300+.

savwe unfortunatly it isn't as easy as you make it sound. ppl often disagree with what should be fixed, and the number of suggestions in the old days was huge .... that being said it would be nice to get some feeling that Davidm was listening @ least just a little bit to other ppl's ideas

Altho the comments on deathball's similarities with old atari games are gameplay-orientated.
Gameplay has hardly anything (if nothing) to do at all with time and graphical improvement because of better hardware =\
Invalid argument.
