NOSTRIL is what is killing me on your one!! Well the second half of the sentence!

I've been looking D12 all day on and off and even found a site with the cartoon as it was printed so you could see the whole story upside and downside!

I thought i saw a word like animal in the hair of the bird's belly! Also I tried invertibrate (invert!) and loads of kinds of fish as I guess that's really the only animal! The bird in the cartoon is called the Dangerous Bird but that didn't work! and siren didn't work (half bird/half fish) : (

The bird is called Roc and isn't really existing.

NOSTRIL is the only word that makes it more difficult to read combine it with IAN and it guessable

The bird cant really be considered an animal because its a mythical bird

That only leaves the fish then!

And the man

It's not tuna ...

2 months and you've managed to find out that it isnt tuna

I found out many other things that are not the solution either ...

According to the dictionary def a man is not an animal ! So that excludes the man (Muffatoo) and the woman (Miss Love-whateveritwas)
