I know I've asked you ingame before about this David, but just wanted to ask again.

An ignore feature.

You would use it to block ingame messages from people who are just being asses/annoying/plain rude. Also you could use it to ignore spammers where the repeat-ban system was not turned on in the server settings.

command could be as simple as:

ignore playername

Anyone else got any thoughts on this?

well not now, more important things to do, this would actually be work to implement it properly (with a good user friendly surface)

Using gay sound-samples from guys half the community don't even know and that hardly fit the general sound of db-voices would be a very, very bad idea.

is there a way to limit the "short name" (the one that appears in beacons above the head in game) to let;s say 10 characters? or less.

cuz some NA ppl think it's funny to have 100letter long names and obstruct everyone's view

Err yeah thats why when you dont configure it, it would show as "[DEUS]l0" or how many chars it is

Im sure it is limited, but i have also seen a really long one stretch across the screen and was like wtf :E
