i love DB, but Alien Swarm seems to be well accepted by the community and its nicely done.

I think it will win.

alien swarm > deathball i think, the point of all the stages were progression if you entered your mod in all stages and as far as i can see the only thing deathball introduced were some new maps (crap=/) and the models (again crap). Not taking anything away from deathball because i play it and love it but i dont think its progressed enough to win again. I think alienswarm will take this one.

So because DB was one of the first mods out and its gameplay honed to near perfection before MSU started it's being penalised? Nice.
