I actually made a gym looking map when 1.4b was released, i made it when my mobo burnt out and i was using a p2 350. It was very basic and something just for me to use while i was out of action, i even got 180fps! I had to stoip making it tho as it was taking nearly 5 mins just to 'build all'
But its nice to see the map, and it looks alot better than what mine did.

i love this map, but i get some pretty crappy fps on it, if theres anyway to tone that down, then i hope you do

yes! :p
actually this map isn't suited for league play or anything ... it's just a fun map, and not being able to climb up would take away from it.

wow...this map looks nice...but its horrible to play on because of the little to no optimization. I get 10 fps. lol

it sure is a fun map but i dont like a few easy fixes about it...
#1. make the red goal a red mat plz
#2. put blocking volumes even with the ladder faces (get some funny bounces)
#3 make the ladders unclimbable plz, they're horrible in pubs. Its not fun being the only person who's not on the top cherry picking.
#4. Make the basketball nets a little bigger and hollow so we can shoot on them

#1. can be done, tho there is not much chance of confusing sides on this map.
#2. ladders will get simple collision hulls with them to enhance performance. this should also solve the bounce issues.
#3. but, but...

we'll see
#4. you can already score baskets, if that's what you mean ... it's just not that easy

Ive scored baskets, You get some music if ya score. 10 points would be better

30 megs and -20 on the FPS =\
Its a fun map though... just straight up fun.. The flat goals are fun to shoot at, and the baskets are fun as well. The lighting is fun to play chicken on (bvest combo in a map = bloodpit + basketball =p) But I just can't figure out why it kills framerates so much... or why its 30 megs for that matter. Where are all the bytes going to?
