though i didnt stay long cuz of stupid family
i missed alot of it, ac vs inter was on.

time for a ut2004 reinstall number 5 to see if my static meshes are gonna stay

uve lost me
its not that there off they keep flickering on and off, but more off than on... like the static meshes were on then i went upto the goal to shoot and the goal disappeared...
but if would like to tell me what u mean by advanced options... it would help

type in "preferences" in the console
under renderer/direct3d or so you should find the option

that really does look like alot of crap i havent even got a clue what its for.
i just reinstalled ut2004, db, winpatch blah blah... and im still loosing my static meshes
i wouldnt know what to change the in the preferences so i just left it... the only thing that i think is fucking it up is my shitass graphics card
i appriciate ur help /o\ though its starting to really frustrate me

iirc static meshes are held entirely in video memory. so the fact you have a shitty card with not much vid mem might be the cause?
This may or may not be true, someone tell me whether this is crap or not...

That shouldn't affect anything. I used to play DB (and UT2k3) with a Voodoo3 3000. That had only 16MB RAM and worked fine (by fine I mean a slideshow but everything displayed correctly).
